On my way to buy croissants in the supermarket this morning – well it is Sunday, I saw this entertaining display in the shop window of a place selling kitchen goods.   I shan’t be buying said culinary item but the use of wool certainly made me chuckle.

Mitten number one is now finished.  I need to make a start on the second one now.  It’s really quite funny; it’s one of the hottest days of the year and I find myself preparing for winter.  Why not?

I live in a small cottage in rural Ireland with my family. We care for two lively alpacas and two sedentary cats. I love all things "textile" but particularly knitting aran patterns and spinning my alpaca's wool.
